An insightful workshop IISO Summer school
Posted on : September 15, 2024
During the recent IISO Summer School, Grade 1-4 students participated in an insightful workshop on bullying,
led by our school counselor, Ms. Almas Alaneed .
The children explored the definition and different types of bullying, along with the harmful effects it can have on everyone involved.
Through engaging role-play activities and worksheets, they learned how to respond if they are being bullied, what to do if they witness bullying, and how to stop it if they are the ones bullying.
The workshop also included fun ice-breakers to help students recognize and manage their own emotions, as well as understand others’ feelings. The session ended with students creating posters promoting anti-bullying awareness around the school.
A big thanks to Ms. Almas Alaneed for guiding our students through this important topic, helping build a safer and more empathetic community!
